Emmy-award winning garden-writer, author of publications consisting of Pat Welsh’s Southern California Gardening: A Month-by-Month Overview, TELEVISION entertainer, as well as expert artist, Pat Welsh was born in England, used up horticulture at the age of 3, and has had her hands in the dirt since.
Welsh’s
expert horticultural
profession began in the mid-1970’s
teaching programs in
residence gardening at UCSD
Extension and Miracosta
University. She’s composed
countless write-ups and columns and hosted over 500 television
sections and videos. Her current writing
task is a publication on Southwest
Horticulture for DK Publishers (New York/London), and the American Horticultural Culture.
