Southern California Area, which was started in 1887, is one of the 17 areas of the United States Tennis Organization.
The USTA is a not-for-profit
company devoted to
advertising the game of tennis by
supplying top quality
recreational and
competitive programs for people of every ages as well as
capacities. Comprising Imperial, Kern, L.a, Orange, Waterfront,
San Bernardino, San Diego, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura Counties, the SCTA is among the smallest in location of the USTA’s 17
areas. However, the Southern
California section is one of the largest factors of tennis
skill and
ingenious programming.
